I am the co-author of Joselina Piggy Cleans Her Room (Sterling, 2008). My mother, Nancy Markham Alberts, wrote Joselina Piggy Goes Out (Sterling, 2007), but she passed away before she could hold the published book in her hands. After her death, I found a few of her handwritten notes about Joselina sweeping and mopping, and I used these notes to write this sequel. My mother and I always wanted to write a book together, and we ended up doing just that!
Joselina wants her friend, Piggy Sue, to come and visit in this enticing follow-up to Joselina Piggy Goes Out. But her room is a pigsty! So Papa says not yet—not until she’s fixed the mess. Will Joselina’s clever cleaning shortcuts fool her father? Every child who has ever tried to shove the clutter under the bed or pile it into the closet will relate!
